Making formatting changes to affect the display of a field

This section describes how to format a field. To use these instructions, you should be on the Work with Formatting dialog box of the conditional styles wizard.

  1. On the Color tab, change Field color (background color) or Text color.

    Click one of the presented colors or the ellipses (...) to open a dialog box with more options, including custom colors.

  2. On the Text tab, add bold or italic font (or return to regular font).
  3. Click Next when you are finished making changes.
  4. On the Finalize and Preview dialog box, you can add a name for your new style.

    If you want to start using the personalization immediately, ensure the Activate flag is enabled.

  5. Click Finish.
  6. If you need to make additional changes, you can select the new style from the list and click Edit to rerun the wizard.
