  1. With the job you want to work with selected, click the Actions menu on the toolbar.
  2. Perform any of these functions that are available from the Actions menu.
Job List Actions menu item What it does
    Add Job

Opens the application form to let you create a job.

Note: An Add Job button has been added to the tool bar to allow quick access to creating a job.
Change Job Opens the application parameter form to let you make changes.
    Copy Job

Copy the selected job to another user.

Selecting this item opens a dialog box for you to select the copy to job owner and assign a new name to the job if you want to.

Example: You are user1 on SYSTEM1 and want to send job1 to user2 on SYSTEM2. In the Job Owner box, type SYSTEM2\user2. You can keep the job name as "job1" or change it.

Delete Job Delete all selected jobs.
    Submit Job

Submit the selected job for processing.

When you select this option, a dialog box requesting Job Queue, Start Date and Start Time appears. To use the default job queue and to run the job immediately, just click Submit.

If you want to select a specific job queue or if you want to specify a date/time for the job to run, provide information in the appropriate fields.

Quick Submit Job The default for this new hotkey is Ctrl+F12. The hotkey applies to either the standard Submit action or the Quick Submit action, depending on the user’s toolbar button setting.
    View Job Log File

Opens a log file of information about the job run. You would view this log file only if a job had a problem.

For multi-step jobs, you can tell which step failed or, if a job seems to be using a lot of processing time, you can see which step is processing.

View Job Reports If the selected job has associated reports, you can click View Reports to see the report on your screen.
Sort By You can choose to sort by the following filters:
Job Owner: Person who is shown as being the owner of the job.
Job Name: Name of the job.

Parameter: The application (job or report) that generated the print file. For example, CU201.

Because multi-step jobs are associated with more than one application, for sorting/grouping features, the parameter is shown as "Multi-step Job."

Create Date: Date the print file was created.
Create Time: Time the print file was created.
Print Screen Sends the current screen load to the printer.
Refresh Data Update the list with any new jobs that have been created.
Toggle Select All Select all jobs in the list or deselect if all jobs are currently selected.
    Close Window Closes Job List.
