Log Viewer

You can use this widget to view log entries in real time.

Perform these steps to edit the setting in Log Viewer

  1. From the Show menu, select Widget Library > Log Viewer.
  2. In the Log Viewer widget, click the Settings icon.
  3. Specify this information:
    Maximum number of log entries to display

    Set the number of log entries to be displayed.

    Show timestamps

    Select to enable showing the time before the messages.

    Log level

    Select the level of log that should be included in the viewer.

    Filter

    You can filter out messages to only show what you are interested in:

    • Origin: Only shows log-items containing the origin (the origin of the error)
    • Message: Only shows log-items containing the word you enter in the field
  4. Click Save.
