The table shows the other functions that you can perform from the Actions menu within Print Manager.
Print Manager Actions menu item What it does Delete Report Delete all selected print files. Distribute Report To Group If distribution groups are set up at your location, use this option to send a print file to a group. When you select this option, a dialog box that lets you type the name of the group appears. Distribute Report To User Send a print file to another user. When you select this option, a dialog box that lets you type the name of the user appears. Extract Report to CSV Use this option to generate a CSV file from the print file. When you select Extract to CSV, a dialog box for saving a file appears.
To save the file without opening it first, select Save and specify a name for the file (if you do not want to use the default name) and select the location to store the file.
By default, the file will be the name of the application (job or report) the print file is based on. For example, if the print file was generated from CU201, the CSV file will by default be named CU201.CSV.
You can also view the file on screen. If you choose this option, the CSV file will open in Microsoft Excel.
Print Report Send the report to a printer. View Report View the report on your screen. Sort By You can choose to sort using these filters: Report Owner: Person who is shown as being the owner of the report. Job Owner: Person who is shown as being the owner of the job. Job Name: Name of the job. Parameter: The application (job or report) that generated the print file (for example, CU201).
Because multi-step jobs are associated with more than one application, for sorting/grouping features, the parameter is shown as "Multi-step Job."
File name: This is the name of the report (print) file, for example, CU201.PRT. Create Date: Date the print file was created. Create Time: Time the print file was created. Print Screen Send the current screen load to the printer. Refresh Data Update the list with any new print files that have been created. Toggle Select All Select all jobs in the list (or de-select all jobs if they have been selected). Close Window Close Print Manager.
