File Transfer Wizard
You can use the File Transfer Wizard to connect to a remote FTP server, and move files between the local machine and the server.
To run the wizard, open Infor Smart Office Navigator and then select .
After the wizard is open, provide values for these fields:
- FTP Server: The fully-qualified domain name of the server. On the Port field, specify the port number.
- User Name: The user name of the account that will be used to log in to the FTP server.
- Password: The password of the account used to log in to the FTP server.
- Encryption: From the drop-down list, you can select None, SSL, or TLS.
- Initial Directory: Optional. You can specify another directory if you want to start in a location other than your default or home directory
You can save the specified FTP information and credentials as a profile. Click
and you will be prompted to specify a name for a new profile. When done, click .When all the required information has been provided, click
to establish the connection to the FTP server.Note: For a Windows FTP server, the directory list output format must be set to Unix style.
