If using M3 Workplace/iBrix

Workplace can handle multiple M3 Business Engines.

Verify that the Workplace Application Server specified in the system profile is configured to use the same M3 Business Engine as the iBrix.

The M3 system profile tab has both Basic and Advanced views. Most of the tasks can be done in the Basic view. The Advanced view must be used if Workplace does not use standard HTTP and HTTPS ports. Details are in the Advanced M3 System Profile configuration.

If you are experiencing problems with unexpected Smart Office shutdowns when running iBrix, you can change a parameter for the M3WorkplaceURL setting, available in Advanced mode, that forces iBrix graphics to open in a separate window. See Advanced M3 System Profile configuration.
