Configuring the IDM that is not installed in the same LifeCycle Manager instance

  1. In the Profile Editor, choose the Advanced option and select CA from the applications list.
  2. Select the check box to Enable CA Configuration.
  3. If the IDM is installed in a different LifeCycle Manager instance, log in to the LifeCycle Manager instance where the IDM resides.
  4. Browse the server tree to locate the IDM to configure. Double-click on the IDM entry to display the Dashboard. Note the server URL.
  5. In the Profile Editor, type in the server settings for the Document Archive.
