Adding administrators to the Grid role mappings

Perform these steps for installations that do not use User Management in Infor Ming.le.

You must add your user name to the Infor Smart Office Administrator role in Grid before you can access the Administration Tools.

  1. On the LifeCycle Manager Applications tab, expand the grid instance where Infor Smart Office is installed.
  2. For LifeCycle Manager 9.x, right-click the MangoServer application > Lawson Grid <version> > Application > Configure Application.
  3. For LifeCycle Manager 10.x, right-click the MangoServer application > Configure Application > Edit Role Mappings.
  4. Locate the Administrator role and click Edit under the Included Members column.
  5. Click Add. The Add Role Mappings to Administrator dialog box is displayed.
  6. In the Custom field under Global, specify the user name or role to add to the MangoServer administrator role.
Note: This user name must also be defined in the user repository to which Infor Smart Office authenticates.

If you are using a DSSO Session Provider, do not include the domain when mapping a user to the MangoServer administrator role. If you use a fully qualified domain name, that is, user.name@domain.com, you can log in to Infor Smart Office but the Administrator Tools will not be shown in the Navigator.

  7. Click Add adjacent to the Custom field then click OK.
  8. You can add additional users. When you are finished adding users, click OK on the Role Mappings dialog box.
  9. Click Save. On the Save Configuration Changes dialog box, review the changes and click Save.

The new administrator users are displayed under the Included Members list for the Administrator role.
