Adding a locale
- Click Add.

Specify this information:
- Locale

Specify a name for the new locale definition.
- Language

Select the language or dialect of the locale.
The default is U.S. English. If the locale that you are defining or updating requires a different language or dialect, be sure to type it or select it.
- Date Separator

Specify the character to be used to separate the day, month, and year of a date.
For example, if you select dd/mm/yy as the date format, and a hyphen (-) as the date separator, the date follows the format dd-mm-yy.
- Date Format

Select the format in which dates should appear.
Available formats are mm/dd/yy, dd/ mm/yy, and yy/mm/dd. The default date format is mm/dd/yy.
- Time separator

Specify the character to be used to separate the hour and minutes.
- Thousands separator

Specify the character to be used to separate numeric data in thousands.
- Decimal separator

Specify the character to be used to separate numeric units.
- Currency symbol

Specify the character to be used for monetary units.
- Percent symbol

Specify the character to be used for percentage values.
- Comma placement

Specify the format in which the data in numeric fields with decimal formatting will have its commas positioned. The available formats are International and Indian. The default is International.
- Calendar

Select the format used to display or select dates. The available formats are Gregorian and Hijiri.
- Time format

Select the time format. The default is 12 hours.
- Negative sign position

Select the placement of the negative sign for negative values.
Prefix puts the negative sign to the left of the value. Suffix puts the negative sign to the right of the value. The default negative sign placement is suffix.
- Currency symbol position

Select the placement of the currency sign for monetary values.
Prefix puts the currency symbol to the left of the value. Suffix puts the currency symbol to the right of the value. The default character placement is prefix.
- Click Save.
