IBrixes in Infor Smart Office compared to Workplace

There are some differences between deploying IBrixes in M3 Workplace and in the Infor Smart Office.

The user will never see a system selector but will be loaded with the Application Server profile that the user has in the session specified in the system profile. Company and division is important context information. The company and division will be the one you have in Infor Smart Office in MNS150 and will not be retrieved from the M3 Workplace. The company, division and language will be sent from Infor Smart Office to M3 Workplace before launching the IBrix.

The system profile in Infor Smart Office has a section for M3 Workplace

The Application Server Name must match an Application Server the user is connected to in M3 Workplace in the User Manager.

The M3WorkplaceURL must match the Workplace server.
