Installation point configuration

The installation point configuration contains information that you have entered during the LCM installation.

Installation URL The path to the web application that contains the installation point. For example, http://myserver.company.com:48096/mango.
HTTPS URL to the Grid

The URL to the grid. For example, https://myserver.company.com:48097. You need to know the https port and the address to the grid. You also need to use the same address as the certificate that you are using. The grid can generate its own certificate and you can get the host name of the certificate by opening the link in a browser and checking the certificate.

You can get the address directly from a router by clicking "select router" and selecting a router. There is also a button for getting the default values of the default router.

Client suffix This is a suffix that will be used as part of the Smart Office product name when installing the client. For example, you can set it to PROD, TST, or DEV. You should set this value if you have multiple Smart Office installations.

After saving these values, if the installation point changed, you must export and sign the installation point again. This is because the Installation URL and the Client Suffix are part of the applications manifest and they need to be re-signed.
