Back up and restore checklist
This section describes the files and folders that should be backed up in case of a disk crash or similar event.
-
The Mango Server files is no longer used. There are new three options:
- Backup of the H2 database file if H2 is used.
Example path: <lcmservice>\grid\<gridname>\applications\GDBC\h2db\MangoServer.h2.db
- Backup of MS SQL using Microsoft tools
- Backup of data using the MangoAdmin tool
- Backup of the H2 database file if H2 is used.
- The LifeCycle Manager database. The database contains all the information about the installed Infor Smart Office components. There is no way to import existing Infor Smart Office server components into the LifeCycle Manager.
- Note also that applications which run in Infor Smart Office (such as M3 Business Engine, M3 UI Adapter, Lawson Enterprise Applications,
or Lawson Business Intelligence) may have files that need to be backed up.
For example, you may want to keep backups of user personalizations, which are stored in application-specific locations, and not in Smart Office itself.
For more information, see the specific application chapters in this document and the application's administration documentation for guidelines.
