-
When the Group Policy Management Console is installed, click Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Group Policy Management.
Note: You must have administrative rights in the part of the Active Directory tree that you will administrate.
- Create a new a new Group Policy Object named "Infor Smart Office". To do this, right-click the Group Policy Objects node and select New.
- Right-click the new policy and select Edit.
- Open the User Configuration node, right-click the Administrative Templates node, and select Add/Remove Templates.
- On the Server for Infor Smart Office, browse the ISOInstallDir/AdditionalFiles directory and locate the Lawson Smart Office.adm file.
- Remove all existing templates and add the template file Lawson Smart Office.adm.
- All the Infor Smart Office policies are now added to this Group Policy Object. All policies are by default "Not Configured," will not be used.
- To force a specific server path for the users, open User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Lawson Smart Office > Server Path.
- Select Enabled, clear Allow Server Override, and specify the server path.
- Click OK and close the editor. Next, this Group Policy Object must be enabled for the users.
