Establishing mutual trust

The Smart Office client is signed with a code signing certificate for safety. This certificate is renewed every few years and has been renewed this HF55 release.

Because of some business-related values in the new certificate, the new certificate categorizes Smart Office as a new application not trusted by Microsoft Defender SmartScreen. Starting HF55, these steps should be performed when installing or updating the client:

  1. In the Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, click More Info.
  2. Ensure that the App file is MangoClient.exe and the publisher is Infor.
  3. Click Run anyway.
