M3 Info widget (M3 users only)

M3 Info is used to view data for a browse definition in M3. This is the same kind of view that users get when they press F4 or browse in a field. The list displays the first 100 results from the browse. It is possible to position on an entry using the search field.

A browse configuration has three keys: Field (mandatory), Variant (optional), and User (optional). Check the keys you need in MNS185. This widget has two different types of settings. The first part is for the browse configuration the other part is information about how to launch M3. This widget does not support bookmarks so that is why more configuration about how to start the function is needed.

How the browse works is defined by the browse definition in MNS185. The information that M3 Info displays (items, suppliers, customers, orders) is defined in the settings for the widget.

The web service that is used to call MNS185 is installed with the server for Infor Smart Office.
