Storing and managing system files using Import/Export Manager

For current versions of Infor Smart Office, settings files, pre-defined widget definitions, and links are stored in a database (in previous versions, they are stored on the server). This includes files that are located on the file system.

This topic describes how to use the Import/Export Manager to:

• Perform a back up of files. Typically, you would do this before modifying configuration files to allow for testing and reverting to previous versions as needed.

• Move configuration files between installations, for example, from test to production environments.
