Communicator widget

The Communicator widget implements built-in collaboration through web sockets, which makes instant messaging efficient. Through the Communicator widget, users can set their online status in the Smart Office title bar, manage personal contacts and favorites, filter offline contacts, and add new users in their contact list. The Conversation window supports both one-to-one and group conversations. Searchable history logging and file transfer features are available for one-to-one conversations. Users can also share their screen or a specific running application in Smart Office to any number of participants in a conversation.

The collaboration feature is integrated to Smart Office and only allows user to collaborate with other users in the same Smart Office installation.

There are no configurable settings for the Communicator widget. You can use the widget id to control whether the Communicator appears in the Widget Library. See Removing a widget from the Widget Library list.
