Locate the user whose personalization(s) you want to deploy to a wider
audience.
From the Lawson Personalization Manager dialog box, select
Source Type and Data
Area.
For example, if you want to deploy personalizations created by a user,
select User for Source Type. Ensure the data area you want to use is
selected.
Note: If you are deploying a personalization
for the first time, the source is User because all personalizations
are initially affiliated with the user who created them. If a
personalization has been deployed to a role, it could be deployed to
another role. In that case, you can select Role for Source
Type.
Use the Filter feature to narrow the list of users or scroll through
the list of users displayed at the bottom pane of the dialog box.
When the user whose personalizations you want to use is displayed in
the list, click Select.
Click the personalization you want to deploy, or press Ctrl+click to
select multiple personalizations, and then click Copy.
Deploy the copied personalizations.
You can deploy personalizations to a user, to a role (a group of
users), or globally (all users in the data area). To do this, in the
Target Type, select User, Role, or Global.
If you are deploying to a user or to a role, click Select to locate the
user or role.
If the user or role that you want to deploy to is currently
displaying in the bottom half of the screen, highlight it and then
click Select.
In the case of roles, only those that are not already existing
targets will be listed.
Click Copy so all personalizations files are now available to these
users.
