Configuring the IE rendering modes in web browser emulation

A new user setting has been added for the Internet Explorer web browser control emulation mode. The default value is currently blank which means no emulation mode is set unless changed by an administrator or a user.

The modes with "Standards mode" means that the web browser will be forced to run in the standards mode for that browser version. If the version without the "Standards mode" text is used, the browser will only run in that mode if the web page that is displayed is compliant (has the correct doctype set).

  1. In the Infor Smart Office Canvas, click Show > Settings > Infor Smart Office > General tab.
  2. Select a version in the Web browser emulation drop down list.
  3. Save the settings.
