Enabling and disabling search providers from within Forms (Lawson Enterprise Applications only)

By default, Lawson users can launch search providers (Bing, Google, and Yahoo) from the context (right-click) menu of a form.

A system administrator can perform these tasks:

  • Disable access to search providers for all or some (through roles) users

  • Remove access to some of the default providers

  • Change the default providers.

Up to three providers can be made available. This means, for example, that if you want to add a URI for one additional search provider, you must remove at least one of the Lawson-delivered URIs.
