Lawson Administration menu in Infor Smart Office

Infor Smart Office includes an administration menu for Lawson applications that is grouped in Navigator with Infor Lawson for easy access.

Note: You must have access to the Lawson Administration menu (portaladmin attribute = yes in User Attributes) to see this menu. Access to individual menu items can be granted to non-administrators on the Administration tab of the Role Manager.

The menu provides access to these items:

  • IOS Cache Refresh: If system behavior indicates a problem that refreshing cache might solve, you can refresh cache from this tool.

  • Lawson Import/Export Manager: A tool that allows administrators, or anyone granted access through their role, to export to a zip package the various personalization files that are stored on the Lawson application server. After exporting, the package can then be used to import the files to another server.

  • Lawson.Net Trace: A tool for viewing call and transaction details for troubleshooting purposes.

  • Link Manager: The tool for creating links to documents and other information. Link Manager is also accessible from the Tools menu when a form is open.

  • Role Manager: The Lawson tool for creating user roles.

  • View Internals: Access to all information about a system, including components and a particular user's access
