Adding or removing a setting

  1. Select a system profile from the Profile drop-down list.
  2. Select an application name from the list on the left side of the Profile Editor window.
  3. Select the Advanced view.
  4. Perform any of these steps:
    Note: Before deleting a setting, consider if this setting is being used by an application. If an application depends on a specific setting and this setting is removed, this will affect the installation and might cause the application to fail.
    • If you want to remove a setting, click the Delete icon next to setting field. When prompted to delete the setting, click Yes.
    • If you want to add a setting, click the Add icon that appears below the application entry name (if there are no existing settings), or click the Add icon that appears on the next line after a setting (if you want to add a setting to existing ones). Space a name for the setting, and click OK.

      You cannot add the same setting twice.

  5. Save your changes.
