Personalization storage

For M3 UI Adapter version 10.2.2.0 and earlier

Personalization data is stored in the Customizations folder located in the data folder for M3 UI Adapter. The data folder is defined using a grid property of M3 UI Adapter called FileRootPath.

Note: If FileRootPath is blank, then the files can be found in:

<LCMService>\grid\<GridName>\applications\M3_UI_Adapter\webapps\mne\WEB-INF (if using LCM 9.1.x)
<LCMService>\grid\<GridName>\grids\<GridName>\applications\M3_UI_Adapter\webapps\mne\WEB-INF (if using LCM 10.x)

The Customizations folder contains one folder for each user that has created a personalization. The folder name is the same as the user ID. The user folder contains a folder structure that is similar to the one for view definitions with one XML file for each customized program. The files are named PROGRAM NAME.xml.

For M3 UI Adapter 10.3.0.0 and later

Personalization data is stored in the database. The customizations in Smart Office 10.2.1 are managed through the Web-based Administration Tools of M3 UI Adapter. See Using the Personalizations tool in the M3 Core Administration Guide.
