Communication

All communication is done over HTTP/HTTPS, which makes it possible to run Infor Smart Office over the Internet. Some of the communication requires HTTPS, others can use either HTTP or HTTPS or a combination of both. The reason for requiring HTTPS on all web service calls is that the .Net Windows Communication Foundation does not allow credentials to be sent over HTTP. It forces the communication between the Infor Smart Office framework and server to be configured in a secure way.
