Role mappings for Smart Office and M3 13.3 and later versions

If you are using IFS, the only recommended Session Provider for the M3 Core installation is the SAML Session Provider. By default, Smart Office is installed with role mapping to allow any authenticated user to run Smart Office.

To allow only users that have the SMARTOFFICE-User roles to access Smart Office, you must remove the authenticated permission in the mapping.

  1. Access Infor ION Grid Management Pages.
  2. Click Users & Roles.
  3. Locate Mango Server/User and click Edit.
  4. In the Role Mapping window, click the trash icon beside authenticated to remove it.
  5. Click OK.
