Installing IDM Proxy

  1. Stop any old IDM in the Smart Office Grid.
  2. On the TechStack grid management pages, go to Security > OAuth Credentials > IDM-OAuthConsumerCredential and then copy the Consumer Key and Secret Key.

    You can paste both keys in a notepad to secure a copy.

  3. Return to TechStack grid management pages, go to Configuration > Routers.
  4. Select the Xi Platform Router.
    Note: Validate that Enable Token Authentication and Enable Impersonation are both enabled.
  5. Return to TechStack grid management pages, then go to Applications > SAML Session Provider.
  6. Select Properties, then expand SP and copy the value of Identity Claim.
  7. Install IDM Proxy .gar file into the Smart Office Grid.
  8. On the Smart Office Grid management pages, go to Configuration Manager > Applications > idm-proxy > Edit Properties.
  9. Specify the values copied earlier.
    Note: The URL to IDM should be directed to the TechStack Grid (SAML Router).
