Troubleshooting collaboration

The collaboration server port needs to be accessible by all clients. The default value is 8080, but if you have multiple grids on the same host, you must change this port number to an available port. When Smart Office starts, you will see an error message if the port is not available. In that case, you must change the collaboration server port. You can change the server port while the MangoServer is running which will pick up the change and restart the collaboration server on that port. You should check the log file for information that the collaboration server is started.
