Working with Infor Smart Office Inbox Support

Ensure that you have added the Infor Smart Office Web Service server certificate in Websphere’s keystore and configured Web Service settings in Smart Notification Install Validator. For more information on setup procedure, refer to the Infor BI for Lawson Installation Guide.

View the notification in Infor Smart Office.
  1. Double-click the Smart Notification message that contains the notification details in the Infor Smart Office Inbox.
  2. Click on the link to view the notification.
Note: Only alerts available on the Delivered Alert History can be viewed from the Infor Smart Office Inbox.
Refer to the list to understand the items that you need to consider when working with Infor Smart Office Inbox:
  1. Format the Infor Smart Office inbox address to "INBOX@LSO:<user id>".
  2. In adding a new Infor Smart Office inbox device, it is recommended to select a device type that utilizes an e-mail device driver using HTML format.

    For example, MS Outlook.

  3. The process of adding a new Infor Smart Office inbox device and the way alerts are delivered are the same with other types of devices.
  4. Notification that will be displayed once the link in the inbox is clicked is dependent on the saved content. Thus, if the specific notification instance has been deleted from the Delivered Alert History page, it will no longer be viewable from the Infor Smart Office inbox.
