Exporting files

When you perform an export procedure, all files included in the export are included in a single .zip file. The content can then be extracted and viewed in the new location.

  1. From Navigator, select Functions > Administration Tools > Import/Export Manager.
  2. Select the data to include in the export .zip file by selecting these options:
    • Include Settings files: These are the settings maintained in Settings Editor.
    • Include role values and roles: If selected, role data will be included with the setting information and this data will overwrite what is on the target server when the import is performed.
    • Include predefined widgets: If selected, data about predefined widgets will be included in the export file.
    • Include Links: If selected, links that have been set up at your site are included in the export file.
  3. Click Export.

    You will be prompted to select a location and name for the zip file. to copy the zip file. Click Save when you are finished specifying location and name.

    A success message appears when the export completes.
