Creating or modifying collection definitions

            In the Portal Manager, select

            Perform one of these tasks:
		  
            
			            
                  - To create a new
                     collection definition, click New. Provide a name for the new collection definition and click
                        OK. Click
                        Edit to enable
                     the property fields. 
 
                  - To modify an existing
                     collection definition, select it in the list and click Edit.

            Specify this information:
		  
            
 
			            
                  
                     - Data Source
				  
 
                     - Select to use the default data source or specify a different
					 one in the text field. 
				  
 
                  
                  
                     - Underlying Collection Name
				  
 
                     - Select to use the same name or specify a different one in the
					 text field. 
				  
 
                  
                  
                     - Attributes
				  
 
                     - Specify the column to use for the timestamp and whether to
					 inherit attributes from the collection.

			 Save.
