Additional farm functions
These additional toolbar options are provided for specific tasks on Farm Manager forms. Some icons are used for multiple functions.

Bring Down Portal
Make Server Idle Stop Session |
On the Portals tab, this icon is used to stop accepting new
sessions for the portal. Existing sessions remain. On the Servers tab, it is used to gracefully take down the server for maintenance. On the Sessions form, it is used to stop the session. |

Bring Up Portal
Make Server Active |
On the Portals tab, this icon is used to begin accepting new
sessions for the portal. On the Servers tab, it is used to make the server active. |

Force Down Portal
Force Server Idle |
On the Portals tab, this icon is used to stop accepting new
sessions for the portal and end any existing sessions. On the Servers tab, it is used to immediately take down the server for maintenance. |

Rebuild Server | This icon is used on the Servers tab to rebuild a server in the
event of a problem. All files created in inetpub and all sites and application pools created in IIS
for the server are deleted and re-created. |

Test Connection | On the Data Sources tab, this icon is used to test the data source connection. |

Poke Farm Job Processor | On the Farms tab, this icon is used to poke the farm job processor. This wakes up the farm job processor on all machines in the farm. It is used when there are pending farm jobs. |

Set Sessions Filter |
On the Sessions form, this icon is used to open a form for filtering on previous instances of a portal. For example, you can filter on all sessions that have a portal with a specific active originator. |
