Performing inspection tasks

Use the Inspection Tasks form to capture measured values for each applicable inspection task.

This table describes the symbols used and their meanings.


Symbol	Meaning
Black * (asterisk)	Task is incomplete
Orange X	Measurement failed
Blue !	Measurement failed but has been adjusted
Green check mark	Measurement passed

Use the Paper Airplane button on the Inspection Tasks form to post the inspection measurements to the back office. Posting includes the opportunity to capture a signature for the completed inspections. This signature is linked to the service order with the current date.

Note: You can include the captured signature on the inspection report output when printed from the mobile app.

The maximum length for freeform measurement type values is 38 characters. We recommend using the Notes section to add additional content.

You can tap Not Applicable for inspection tasks that are not applicable or required. You must have the Inspection Applicable - Allow Update permission group assigned in the back office to set tasks as not applicable in the mobile app.

Note: If Always Required is selected on the Inspection Codes form, then the Not Applicable option is disabled for the tasks in that section code.
