Binary Value Action response type

Use the Binary Value Action event handler response type to perform a binary action (import, export, view, or delete) on a binary language object (BLOB), often an image. This response type can be used only on forms that are bound to an IDO collection.

You must specify these Parameters:

  • The action to perform
  • The component that the binary object is bound to
  • Possibly, a file name (when using the Export action)
