Obtaining a map API key from Google

The Service Management application supports Google Maps using extended mapping features.

Prerequisites to use Google Maps from various forms in the application:

• A Map API key is obtained from Google.

• The following APIs are enabled and authenticated using the API key:

  • Maps JavaScript API

  • Places API (New)

    Note: For more details, see Places API.

  • Places API (Legacy)

    Note: For more details, see Places API (Legacy).

  • Roads API

    Note: For more details, see Roads API.

  • Geocoding API

    Note: For more details, see Geocoding API.
• Access to the Infor CloudSuite domain (*.inforcloudsuite.com) must be authenticated using the API key.

• A Map ID is obtained from Google to support Advanced Markers in Google Maps.
