Converting a Lead to a Company

  1. On the Leads form, click Convert to open the Convert Lead to Company form. The lead must be qualified before you can convert it.
  2. Optionally, select an existing company number for the conversion. Leave this field blank for the system to generate a new company after clicking OK. The remaining company fields are populated based on the existing company.
  3. For a new company, specify this information:
    Company Name
    Specify the name of the company.
    Region
    Select the region for the company.
    Salesperson
    Select the salesperson for the company.
  4. Click OK.
