Displaying Item Availability

  1. In the Item field, select the item whose availability you want to show.
  2. Select a Multi-Site Group for the item.
  3. These fields are populated based on the selections:
    (Item Description)
    A description of the item is displayed.
    U/M
    The unit of measure for the item is displayed.
    Total On Hand
    The cumulative nettable quantity of the item that are available across all stockroom locations for the warehouses is displayed.
    Total Reserved Orders
    The cumulative quantity of the item reserved for orders at all warehouses is displayed.
  4. This information is displayed for the warehouse:
    Site
    The ID of the site where the item is located is displayed.
    Whse/Branch
    The warehouse code for the warehouse where the item is located is displayed.
    Qty On Hand
    The nettable quantity of the item that is available at the current location is displayed.
    Non-Nettable Stock
    The total quantity of the item at all non-nettable stockroom locations for the current warehouse is displayed.
    Allocated
    The sum of the quantity allocated to service orders, sales orders, and transfers is displayed. Quantities that are allocated to rental contracts are not included in this number.
    Reserved
    The quantity of the item reserved for orders at the currently selected location is displayed.
    Available
    The available quantity for the item is displayed:Available = On Hand Qty - Allocated
    Receipts
    The sum of the On Order and On Transfer fields that represent the inventory that is due to be received is displayed.
  5. This information is displayed for sales/service order:
    On Order
    The amount on order for the PO line item for the current warehouse or site is displayed.
    Alloc Order
    The number of items that are allocated to orders for the site is displayed.
  6. This information is displayed for transfers:
    On Transfer
    The quantity of all transfer line items expected to arrive at the current warehouse or site is displayed.
    Alloc Transfers
    The cumulative quantity of transfer line items expected to be shipped out of the current warehouse or site is displayed.
  7. This information is displayed for rental contracts:
    Rental Stock
    The total rental quantity for the item, warehouse, and site is displayed.
    (Quantity) On Rent
    The total quantity on rent for the item, warehouse, and site is displayed.
    Alloc to Rent
    The total quantity on rental contracts that are not yet checked out is displayed.
    (Quantity) Available to Rent
    The total quantity available to rent for the item, warehouse, and site is displayed.
