- On the Competitors form, select . 
 
          - Specify this header information:

              Competitor
             
 
             - 
              After saving, the system populates a unique number that identifies the competitor within the system. You can assign a prefix on the CRM Parameters form.
             
 
             - 
              Name
             
 
             - 
              Specify the name of the competitor.
             
 
             - 
              Internet URL
             
 
             - 
              Specify the web site of the competitor.
             
 
            
             
          - On the General tab, specify a description of the competitor and the products they offer. 
 
          - On the Address tab, specify the address information for the competitor. 
 
          - On the Contacts tab, select the primary contact for the competitor. 
           
            To add or edit a contact, click Add Contact or Edit Contact to launch the Contacts form. All of the possible contacts for this competitor are displayed in the grid.
             
          - The grid on the Opportunities tab lists any opportunity associated with the competitor.
 
          - Save the record. 
 
         
         
          Use the buttons on the form as described here:
          
           - Click Contacts to open the Contacts form, filtered to those referencing the competitor.
 
           - Click Opportunities to open the Opportunities form, filtered to those referencing the competitor.
