Setting Forecasting Parameters

  1. Open the Forecasting Parameters form.
  2. Specify the number of days to look forward and backward from the forecast date to determine the amount of forecast that has been consumed.
  3. Use the Demand Transaction Types check boxes to select which transaction types to consider when calculating the service order current demand.
  4. Use the Forecast Consumption Transaction Types check boxes to select which transaction types to consider when accumulating the service order transactions that have consumed inventory.
  5. Save the settings.
