Adding a New Location

  1. On the Locations form, select Actions > New:
  2. Specify this information:
    Location
    Specify the name of the new location.
    Description
    Specify a description for the location.
    Non-Nettable Stock
    Select this check box to allow non-nettable stock at this location. Non-nettable stock has these restrictions:
    • You cannot ship from a non-nettable location.
    • You cannot withdraw from a non-nettable location
    • MRP and APS do not use the non-nettable quantity in calculating requirements.
    Type
    Select the type of location you are adding:
    • Stock: This is a stocking location.
    • Transit: This is a transit location to be used during a transfer order. Remove items from a Transit location only using a transfer order.
  3. Save the record.
