Example: End Tag Number
This topic provides an example for end tag number.
Assume there are approximately 9,500 item/location/lot combinations in inventory and that tags numbers are to be in increments of 5 (5, 10, 15, 20 etc.). This calculation determines the End Tag Number:
ETG = ENC * I = 9,500*5 = 47,500
Where:
- ETG = End Tag Number
- ENC = Estimated number of Combinations
- I = Increment
These entries are made on the Set Tag/Sheet Controls form:
- Begin Tag: 5
- End Tag: 47500
- Begin Sheet: 1
- End Sheet: 1
- Last Tag Used:
- Last Sheet Used
- Increment: 5
