Scheduling Multi-Day Appointments
- Open the Multi-Day Scheduling form.

Specify this information:
- Reference
- Select the source of the work to be performed by the partner.
- Appointment Type
- Select the type of appointment for the partner. A description of the appointment is displayed by default. Appointment types are user-defined codes maintained on the Appointment Types form.
- Hours
- Specify the number of hours that a partner is to be scheduled for work on a particular task.
- Method
- Select the method to use for assigning a partner to a task.
Valid options are:
Method Description Finite Starting from the start date and time entered on the Multi-Day Scheduling form, the scheduling engine will schedule the partner for a certain number of days into the future. The engine will not schedule the partner for more hours than they are available to work. Infinite Starting from the start date and time entered on the Multi-Day Scheduling form, the scheduling engine will schedule the partner for a certain number of days into the future. The engine will schedule the partner for more hours than they are available to work. - Minimum Hours Per Day
- Specify the minimum amount of consecutive time that must be available before the task can be scheduled.
- Maximum Hours Per Day
- Specify the maximum amount of time to schedule in a day for the task.
- Keep Appointments Together
- Select this check box if you want the system to only select time slots in which all selected partners are available at the same time. This option is especially useful when all partners are required to be on-site at the same time. If this check box is cleared, the system selects time slots for each individual partner, based on their availability.
- Appointment Status
- Select the status of the appointment.

In the Partner grid, specify this information:
- Partner
- Select the partner or partners for whom to schedule an appointment.
- Substitute
- The substitute partner set to use if the assigned partner is not available is displayed.
- Appointment Start
- Select the start date for the schedule.
- Inventory Shortage
- If the appointment reference is a SRO and there is an insufficient quantity of materials on hand for the appointment, this check box is selected.
- Click View Reference to view a linked form filtered for the selected reference.
- Click Partner Selection to open the Partner Selection modal form, where you can select multiple partners for the appointment, using the advanced filtering capabilities of that form.

On the
Details tab, in the
Subject Line field,
specify a subject for the note.
These fields on the Details tab show information derived from the source incident or SRO:
- Description
- Customer
- Ship To
- Priority
- Open Date
- Status
- SRO Type
- Click Notes to open the modal Notes form.
- On the Location tab, select a Reference, Unit, or Other to use to populate the address information.
- Optionally, click Preview to view the proposed appointment schedule on the Multi-Day Scheduling Preview form. Click Accept.
- Optionally, click Commit to bypass the schedule preview and create the appointments.
- Optionally, click Cancel to close the form without saving.
