Edit Parameter dialog box

Use this dialog box to specify parameters for a named method action that is part of the specification for the Windows client UPD (Update), INS (Insert, DEL (Delete), or POSTQUERY keywords.

These keywords set up custom processing in the IDO that overrides the corresponding standard operation on the collection.


Field/Option	Description
Type	This field specifies the type of parameter required by the IDO. You can specify a literal value or a property value.
Output	When this option is selected, it signifies that the method outputs values. If the method does not output values, clear this check box.
Value	This field specifies the value to be used for the parameter. What you do here depends on the Type that has been specified: If you specified a literal value for the Type, then enter that literal value in this field. If you specified a property value for the Type, then select from the drop-down list the property value to be used.
