UET Table/Class Relationships

Use this form to create the relationship between an Application Database table and a user class to create a user-extended table. This relationship provides the information that the system needs to retrieve, arrange, and display the user fields associated with the user class.

Note: System administrators can use the Metadata Access Controls form to restrict access to core SQL tables. You cannot modify SQL tables that are set to in the Metadata Access Controls form. You can view SQL tables that are set to but you cannot modify them. You can view and modify SQL tables that are set to .

To link a physical Application Database table with a user class, define a rule so the system knows if the record accessed has a valid user class associated with it. If the rule expression evaluates as True, the application triggers the events to arrange and display the information stored in the user class.

If you are unable to define a rule that describes the user class, select the Extend All Records field, so all the records are extended through the class.
