Tracking a Package
- On the Package Tracking form, select Actions > New.

Specify this information:
- Order Type
- Select the type of order for the package you want to track:
- SRO
- Sales Order
- Transfer
- Purchase Order
- Contract
- Order
- Specify the order number.
- Ship Date
- Select the date the package is scheduled to ship.
- Carrier
- Select the carrier that is shipping the package.
- Bill Transportation To
- Specify the name of the person or company that is paying for the shipment.
- Package Type
- Optionally, specify additional details to describe the package.
- Service Type
- Optionally, specify the category of shipment used by the carrier, such as Next Day, Two Day, or Ground.
- # Packages
- Specify the number of packages in the shipment.
- Weight
- Specify how much the shipment weighs.
- Shipment Tracking Number
- Specify the tracking number for the shipment.
- Package Tracking Number
- Specify the tracking number for the package.
- Save the record.
- Click Track to populate the browser with status information about the package, provided by the carrier.
