Journal Selection

  1. Open the Journal Transaction Utility form.
  2. Select the journal you want in the Journal field.
  3. Click Process to correct the out-of-balance entries.
  4. After the entries are corrected in the appropriate distribution journal transactions form, the system prompts you to print the report.
Note:  Together, the Journal Transactions and Recalculate Journal Balances utilities are used to adjust balances for all journals, including read-only journals. The Recalculate Journal Balances Utility recalculates debit and credit balances and, if necessary, creates an incomplete offsetting entry.
