Maintaining Item Pricing

  1. On the Item Pricing form, select Actions > New.
  2. Specify this information:
    Item
    Select the item for which you are updating pricing.
    (Item Description)
    A description of the item is displayed.
    Effective Date
    Select the date on which the new prices become effective. The current date is displayed by default.
    Currency
    Select the currency to use for the item pricing.
    U/M
    The unit of measure for the item is displayed.
    Unit Price 1-6
    Specify the price for one unit of measure for the item.
    Markup
    Select this check box to generate a price markup based on the Product Code.
    Quantity On Hand
    The total quantity of the item at all nettable stockroom locations displays from the Items form.
    Unit Cost
    The cost for one unit of the item is displayed.
    Current Unit Cost
    The current unit cost for the item is displayed.
    Price Code
    Select an item price code if you are using the price matrix pricing. The system uses the price code to select the correct pricing formula during price calculations.
    (Price Code Description)
    A description of the price code is displayed.
    Break Quantity
    Specify a minimum quantity required for the associated price break.
    Base Code
    Select the code to use for the unit base price:
    • P-1 through P-6
    • Cost
    • None
    Amount/Percent
    Select the domestic currency or percent amount value.
    Value
    Specify the amount or percent that to use in calculating the Unit Price. This amount can be positive or negative.
    Unit Price
    The unit price is displayed.
  3. Click Recalculate to calculate a new unit price when you have added or updated information.
  4. Save the record.
