Setting Up Fixed Asset Parameters

  1. Open the Fixed Asset Parameters form.
  2. In the Depreciation Schedule field, specify a title for the depreciation schedule.

    You can create up to three additional depreciation schedules.

  3. Specify the number of periods to depreciate.
  4. Specify these accounts for the fixed asset:
    • Cash Account
    • Gain Account
    • Loss Account
  5. Save the record.
