Adding a Discount

On the Discounts form, select .

Specify this information:
- Customer Type
- Select the customer type. These codes are set up on the Customer Types form.
- (Customer Type Description)
- A description of the customer type is displayed.
- Product Code
- Select the product code, which identifies the group of items for
which you want to add a discount.
- (Product Code Description)
- A description of the product code is displayed.
- Discount Percent
- Specify the discount percentage that customers of this particular
type, buying products from this particular group, will receive.
- Description
- Specify a description of the discount, up to one line.
- Contract Discount
- Specify a percentage discount to use as the default on a contract
line.
