About the Infor Profiler/Trace Utility

The Infor Profiler/Trace Utility assists technical support in performing SQL related diagnostics. The utility offers a user-friendly interface and uses SQL Profiler to generate data in an XML file for analysis. Advance filtering options are available.

By utilizing a Microsoft SQL executable, it is now possible to initiate a SQL trace from within the system. This is beneficial to companies that do not employ a full-time system administrator, but instead rely on technical support resources to perform database troubleshooting.

Utility Trace File Location

To operate within existing network security settings, by default the trace file is created on the physical drive of the SQL Server, which means Administrator permission may be required to obtain access to the data output.
