About Feature Management

You can use the Feature Management to leave certain installed features inactive until you have tested them and are ready to implement them into your production environment. You can also use Feature Management to activate authorized pre-release features if you are a beta testing customer.

Disruptive features

Disruptive features are improvements to the system that may require training or an understanding of new functionality. You can enable these disruptive features when you are ready to use them in your production environment.

Feature Management form

On the Feature Management form, the activated features are displayed on the same grid as deactivated features and are identified by the Active check box. The read-only Feature Details section provides a brief overview of the selected feature.

If you are a beta customer, you can activate pre-release features only after you specify an early adapter key. Contact your Infor Support representative for more information.

You can deactivate and then reactivate features that are activated by default during disruptive releases, without specifying an early adopter key.
